The support and generosity of the Association of Pangasinenses in Austria — Our Lady of Manaoag—was on full display recently at a charity event organized to raise funds for a kindergarten project in Barangay Idio, Antique, Philippines. This event, held at the Parish of the Heart of Jesus in Vienna’s 21st District, saw parishioners coming together to support a noble cause, with the support of Our Lady of Manaoag adding an extra layer of heartfelt dedication to the proceedings.
The Sunday Mass at the parish was made even more special by the musical contributions of the Our Lady of Manaoag choir, who lent their voices and talents to create a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Their renditions of traditional hymns and songs added a sense of solemnity and reverence to the Mass, setting the tone for the following charitable efforts.
Following the Mass, the parishioners were treated to a delightful spread of typical Filipino foods, lovingly prepared and served by APA – Our Lady of Manaoag members. This gesture of hospitality and warmth reflected the Filipino spirit of generosity and camaraderie, further enhancing the sense of community and togetherness that characterized the event.
The charity event organizers, led by Bruni Weiszgerber and members of the Mission group of the “Herz Jesu” Parish, Töllergasse, were grateful to the Association of Pangasinenses in Austria, Our Lady of Manaoag for their invaluable contributions. Not only did the group provide much-needed support through their presence and performances, but they also made generous donations to the kindergarten project, helping to ensure its successful implementation and continued operation.
Likewise, a Croatian Family Music Band, “TAMBURIZZA AkroBih” accompanied the Holy Mass with their music. They also rendered typical croatian songs.
